This is a very good coffee maker except sometimes, for no apparent reason, aftercarefully filling the reservoir it leaks a small amount of water onto the counter.After repeated email to customer service they never replied. Stuck with a new coffee maker that sometimes leaks.
Pros- Makes good coffee (the goal, right), price is good for the quality you're getting, able to pull pot from maker mid brew and not make a messCons- Difficult to pour water in maker, on/off beep too loud (if the coffee doesn't wake you up, the beep will)Overall a very good product thus far. The pouring of the water is difficult but not SO difficult as some might say and if that's the worst part of your day, you're doing alright.
It does exactly what it's meant to do- make coffee. I'm not a coffee connaiseur, so I can't describe it, but it tastes good to me. I love the feature that lets you set it up the night before, an it turns on automatically in the morning at a preset time.
I can't believe a coffeemaker makes such a big difference in taste. This one makes the best coffee and I use the same exact coffee that I've used for years. I have NO problem pouring the water in the water well, so I have no idea what some people are complaining about.
There's just one very slight drawback and that's when you go to pour the water into the coffeemaker using the coffee pot. This is a great coffeemaker. Has quite a few great features like an auto alarm that sounds when its done brewing and also when it shuts itself off automatically and is very easy to program for auto brewing. The design of the spout on the pot makes it impossible to get all of the water into the maker, also due to the positioning of the water well being so close to the back of the maker. Not really a drawback.just more of a nuisance.
